Fire Prevention

Fire Prevention starts with you!

At the Union Fire Protection District, fire prevention is a top priority. Our goal is to reduce the risk of fire through proactive education, code enforcement, and community outreach. We work closely with residents, businesses, and local organizations to promote fire safety awareness and ensure compliance with fire codes and regulations.

From conducting inspections and reviewing building plans to offering public education programs and safety demonstrations, our prevention efforts are designed to protect lives, property, and the environment. Fire prevention isn't just a department—it's a community-wide responsibility, and we’re proud to lead that effort every day.

It features a cartoon firefighter dog holding a house with a green battery symbol and a fire symbol, emphasizing the safe use of lithium-ion batteries in the home. The text provides safety tips: buy only listed products, charge devices safely, recycle batteries responsibly, and suggests replacing your batteries with lithium-ion ones.
